IIT Ashram was established in 2004 with a mission to prepare outstanding professionals in the field of engineering and medical. We support students in building knowledge in subjects like physics, biology, chemistry and mathematics. Simultaneously, we prepare students to appear for entrances such as IIT JEE, JEE Main, JEE Advanced, AIIMS, GUJCET and foundation courses for secondary school.
We have an outstanding team of experts who come with great knowledge and teaching experience. They help us in taking our vision of serving as valuable resources forward. Our focus is to provide excellence in education by addressing the needs of the present and the challenges of the future. In trying to achieve our focus we have been successful in launching our very own programs that help our students in achieving greater heights of success. One such program that we have launched is ‘Khoj’.
Khoj is an initiative of IIT Ashram to encourage students to take up careers in research that foster interest in pure sciences and engineering programs. With this program the aim is to make sure that students realize their potential and build their aspiration in taking up high research oriented roles in the field of medical and engineering. Adding to this, the program also aims to motivate students to take up challenging research work and teaching assignments.
The students of IIT Ashram appear for the Khoj exam once every year and their results decide the scholarship prizes they can avail. The scholarship amount is directly applicable towards redeeming their coaching fees at our institute. Cash prizes of up to INR 4 crores are awarded to students depending on their results from each class. It is an opportunity that allows our IIT Ashram students to celebrate their abilities and be proud of their hard work.
Appearing for Khoj is a great way in which our IIT Ashram graduates develop skills that can help them in successfully getting through various scholarship examinations. These may include scholarship-based examinations like NTSE, NSTSE, KVPY and Olympiads for classes 8th, 9th and 10th, and other career-oriented competitive examinations like JEE Main(AIEEE), JEE Advanced(IIT-JEE), AIIMS and NEET. In fact, the abilities developed can help children in performing better at more competitive exams like CAT, MAT as well as Civil Services.
